Twelve years since the original Gameboy was released into the wild Nintendo finally brought out a sequel. At its heart was a RISC processor from the same Brits who brought us the Archimedes and graphics technology from the SNES. With all this it couldn’t loose and it didn’t selling over 80 million across the range and ensuring Nintendo kept the handheld crown for another generation fighting off competition from the NeoGeo Pocket Color.
