Genre: Platformer, Puzzle

Bumpy is a great mixture of puzzle game and platformer. You control a ball who is forever destined to bounce, the aim is to bounce around the platforms picking up the objects until the exit appears through which you must bounce to get to the next screen. Like all great puzzle games the concept is oh so very simple but that doesn't make it easy by any means. The horror of Bumpy is falling into a trap which dooms you to spend eternity bumping, over and over, between two platforms.

This game would never have made it to Britain or into the Game-Star Heroes if it hadn't been released on a cover tape with Your Sinclair. It's a Spanish game and never got a shop release here in the UK, which makes me wonder what other little gems are still waiting to be discovered.
